Math Team Outdoes a Number of Others

Golden West College’s math team recently finished a national competition in 14th place. Student Justin Yee tied for 29th place in the United States, out of nearly 4,000 participants.

About 125 colleges competed in three rounds of the American Mathematics Assn. of Two Year Colleges competition. Golden West finished 12th in the West Region, and 14th overall.
