Gore’s Motorcade
If time is money, Vice President Al Gore owes a huge payment to the motorists he left “parked” on the 405 Freeway onramps while he and his dozens of CHP escorts made their leisurely way from the Valley to LAX on June 13. I guess if any of those motorists had a plane to catch they were just out of luck.
Wouldn’t it have made more sense to have Gore shuttled by helicopter? Maybe Gore thinks this parade will endear him to voters.
