Body of Slain Woman Found Near Traveltown
A woman walking near Traveltown’s popular train museum in Griffith Park stumbled onto the bound body of a woman who apparently had been stabbed to death.
The victim, in her 30s, was found in some brush beneath a tree about 8:40 a.m., said Los Angeles Police Officer Jason Lee. Investigators said the victim apparently had been killed somewhere else and dumped in the park.
Detectives said her identity was being withheld pending notification of relatives.
