Top Administrators Get District Extensions

In a unanimous vote, trustees have extended the contracts of Fullerton Joint Union High School District’s top administrators.
Supt. Michael Escalante, who earns an annual salary of $109,627, was granted a three-year contract extension. Assistant superintendents George West, Greg Bice and Ken Stichter received two-year extensions. They each earn $92,906.
School board members Tuesday expressed confidence in Escalante, West, Bice and Stichter by casting the unanimous vote for the contracts. District officials said the contracts do not include pay raises, but the administrative salaries will increase when all other employees receive raises.
