Car Falls on Man Repairing It, Severely Injuring Him
A Tujunga man suffered severe head injuries Saturday when a car he was repairing fell on him, fire officials said.
Francisco Argeta, who is in his 40s, was flown by a Los Angeles Fire Department helicopter to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills with a skull fracture and other possible injuries, department spokesman Bob Collis said.
Argeta was in critical condition Saturday evening, a nursing supervisor said.
The accident occurred about 3:15 p.m. in a parking lot behind Argeta’s apartment, authorities said.
