Networking Club Celebrates 20 Years

Ali Lassen’s Leads Club, a networking organization, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

The club started with a small group of businesswomen, led by founder Ali Lassen, who exchanged leads in a school cafeteria in Huntington Beach in 1978. The organization has grown to more than 300 chapters in the United States and Australia and now includes both men and women.

The Thousand Oaks chapter meets at 7:15 a.m. Tuesdays at Mimi’s Cafe, 400 N. Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks. Information about the meetings is available from director Jane Blackwelder at (805) 371-0188.
