‘Art Cop’ to Offer Lecture on Art Theft

Los Angeles Police Det. Don Hrycyk, known as America’s primary “art cop,” will present a lecture on “Art Theft,” Thursday at 7 p.m. at Butterfield & Butterfield’s auction house. The lecture, sponsored by the Art Dealers Assn. of California, is free, but reservations are required. Information and reservations: (310) 652-7465.
