School District Officials to Hold Community Forums
In an attempt to inform residents about the future needs of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District, the superintendent will hold a series of community forums throughout the month.
Increased enrollment and reduced funds are looming in the district, leading officials to seek views from residents about which programs are most important.
District officials intend to address topics such as reducing class sizes in all grades, reopening closed campuses and the possibility of putting a school bond measure before voters.
Forums have been scheduled for Monday at 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. at Vista Grande Elementary School, 7032 Purple Ridge Drive; March 26 at 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. at Point Vicente School, 30540 Rue de la Pierre; and March 30 at 3:15 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Soleado Elementary School, 27800 Longhill Drive.
Information: (310) 378-9966.
