Organization Seeks Literacy Volunteers
Laubach Literacy, a nonprofit organization that offers free instruction in literacy and English as a second language to Ventura County adults, is looking for volunteers.
The organization will hold a training seminar beginning at 9 a.m. on three Saturdays: April 4, 18 and 25.
Applicants must attend all three four-hour workshops.
The seminars, which will teach tutoring skills in reading and writing, will be at the Oxnard Adult School, 20020 South K St., Room 14.
No teaching experience is necessary.
