Even the Charlotte Hornets are impressed with themselves these days.

The Hornets won a team-record 10th consecutive game Friday night at Orlando, running the Magic off their homecourt with a 100-82 decision.

Charlotte spotted Orlando a 13-2 lead three minutes into the game, then outscored the Magic, 98-69, in the last 45 minutes.

“I’ve never been involved with a team that won 10 in a row, so this is something special for me,” Charlotte Coach Dave Cowens said.
