Dinner-Dance Planned for Library Expansion
The Fullerton Public Library Foundation will host a gala dinner-dance April 19 to raise money for the expansion of the library’s children’s section.
The event kicks off the foundation’s effort to raise $550,000 over the next three years.
City and library officials said the expansion is needed because the children’s section is overcrowded and needs modern technology.
Shall We Dance? will take place at the Spring Field Building, 501 N. Harbor Blvd. National ballroom dance champions Elizabeth Knoll and Dennis Lyle and the Balboa Brass Sextet will perform.
A silent auction will precede the dinner at 5 p.m. Cost is $100 per person. Information: (714) 738-3366.
