Micronics to Distribute Bell/Milgray Line in China

Micronics International in Ventura has signed an exclusive five-year agreement to represent all the product lines carried by Bell/Milgray throughout China.
The agreement gives Micronics, a distributor of semiconductors primarily focused in China, more than 100 major product lines to sell in that country. Some of the major lines are SGS-THOMSON, Samsung, NEC, Teledyne, Maxim, 3M, Analog Devices, Sharp and IBM Microelectronics.
Bell/Milgray, based in El Segundo, had 1997 sales in excess of $890 million. The electronics division has 36 offices throughout the United States and Canada.
Micronics is currently opening additional sales offices throughout China. It recently announced the opening of a warehouse and office in Hong Kong to expedite shipments and improve service to all areas of China.
