Ventura Avenue to Close for Repairs
Ventura Avenue will be temporarily closed for repairs between Canada Larga and Shell roads north of Ventura, the California Highway Patrol said Tuesday.
The decision to start repairs followed numerous telephone complaints by drivers concerning traffic delays on Ventura Road at Casitas Vista Road, said CHP Officer Dave Cockrill.
Officers will be deployed daily between 4 and 6:30 p.m. to guide traffic away from Ventura Road to a detour on Canada Larga Road.
