Vocational School Hosts Job Partnership Breakfast

A vocational school seeking to forge ties with business and industry leaders hosted a breakfast Thursday at the campus in an attempt to secure jobs for its students upon graduation.

The Maxine Waters Employment Preparation Center hosted "Fresh Start Workplace Partnership," which is designed to encourage business and industry to make an employment commitment to the school and the Watts community.

"We are soliciting the help of potential employers to assist students in fulfilling their mission of employment," said school administrator Mary Ramirez.
