Great profile of Vin Scully (Times Magazine, April 26), the best ever voice of radio baseball. We just can’t hear him. I used to listen to the Dodgers on KFI . . . in San Francisco.
Mr. Murdoch’s team is and for 50 years has been the sound of Vin’s voice. But the radio home of the Dodgers is barely more audible in Orange County (or anywhere else 40 miles from Chavez Ravine) than KOA Denver.
