Public Meeting Set on Bonita Canyon Park

The first of two public meetings to discuss the proposed Bonita Canyon park is scheduled for Tuesday.
The Newport Beach Parks, Beaches and Recreation Commission is hosting the gatherings to get input about the park, which is bordered by Bonita Canyon Drive, Ford Road, MacArthur Boulevard and San Miguel Drive.
The public will get a chance to see the landscaping plans and discuss the proposed youth baseball and soccer fields.
The meetings, Tuesday and again on May 20, will begin at 7 p.m. at Andersen Elementary School, 1900 Port Seabourne Way, off Newport Hills Drive in Newport Beach.
