Man Found Slain in House After Neighbors Report Gunfire
Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the death of a man who was shot inside his home early Wednesday, authorities said.
Deputies received a call at about 2 a.m. Wednesday from neighbors who reported that they had heard gunfire in a home in the 500 block of East 223rd Street, said Deputy Cruz Solis.
When deputies arrived, they found the body of a 44-year-old man. The victim’s name was withheld pending notification of relatives.
Solis said there were no suspects in the case. The incident remained under investigation.
