OXNARD--The California Strawberry Festival, next Saturday and Sunday, honors the fruit garnered from the city’s more than 5,500 berry acres. It includes strawberry foods, contests, music, arts and crafts and children’s activities. 10 a.m.-6:30 p.m. both days. Strawberry Meadows at College Park, 3250 S. BISHOP--Watch more than 700 mules compete in racing, packing, roping, and jumping at the Mule Days Celebration May 20-24. VACAVILLE--Viva Fiesta Days!
