Alliance for Survival to Host ‘Denver’ Event

The Los Angeles Alliance for Survival will host a “Friends of John Denver” gathering on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Ocean Park Library, 2601 Main St., Santa Monica.
The free event includes a round-table discussion with ideas on how to further promote the late singer’s work for peace, the environment and ending world hunger.
The discussion will be preceded by a vegetarian potluck dinner.
