Singer Bonnie Raitt has donated some premium seating tickets to her sold-out June 13 Pantages Theatre show to the Save Ward Valley Campaign, which aims to stop the proposed Ward Valley Nuclear Waste Dump located near Needles, Calif.

The “Golden Circle” orchestra seats also include a private reception with Raitt and opening act Keb’ Mo’ following the show.

Tickets are $200 each, and proceeds will go directly to protesters who have camped on the Ward Valley site since Feb. 12.

The protesters--who have vowed to stay on the site until the government cancels plans to construct the proposed dump, include members of five tribes of the lower Colorado River--the Fort Mojave, Cocopah, Chemehuevi, Colorado River and Quechan.

The proposed dump site is located 18 miles from the Colorado River.
