2 Teens Suspended Over Pepper Spray Incident
Two teenage boys were suspended this week for using pepper spray while riding a school bus to TeWinkle Middle School, Costa Mesa police said.
The two students, ages 13 and 14, along with the bus driver and a few of the 46 other children on board, suffered eye and skin irritation from the spray.
They were treated with water by paramedics and sent to school, Costa Mesa Police Lt. Ron Smith said.
The boys, whose names were not released, were suspended for five days, Murphy said.
