HOLIDAY CLOSINGS
Monday marks the celebration of Memorial Day, a day to honor and remember those who died in the nation’s wars.
With the exception of emergency services, city, county and federal offices in Ventura County will be closed Monday. The doors will be closed at public schools, post offices, city halls, courts, libraries, local bus lines and transit agencies. Mail delivery will resume Tuesday. Most trash companies in the county, such as Harrison, G.I. Rubbish and Moorpark Rubbish, will also take the day off, and will pick up trash one day later for the rest of the week. Most banks will be closed.
