Sorgi Sets Two Diving Meet Records

Erica Sorgi of Mission Viejo set two meet records Monday, winning the platform competition with 457.50 points at the Southern California Invitational at the Mission Viejo Aquatics Center.

Sorgi, 15, broke the 1995 record set by Kim Stanfield (456.15) in the women’s open platform division and also broke the 16-18 girls’ age-group platform record by 50 points, which was set by Lindsay Berryman last year.
