$2 Million in Street, Sidewalk Repairs OKd
Nearly $2 million worth of rehabilitation work on portions of 94 streets throughout the city soon will begin.
City Council members recently approved the project, which will include the removal of 183 trees.
The work will include street repavement and repairs on sidewalks, curbs, gutters, ramps and driveway openings.
The streets getting the most rehabilitation include Arbolita and Sturbridge drives, Brookdale and Hillandale avenues, Cypress and Fonda streets and Colfax Court. Most of the trees that will be removed are on Brookdale and Chesham avenues, West Cajon, Cedarwood, Grayville and Sturbridge drives, Colfax, Dexter and Fonda streets and Greenbrier Lane.
