Road Warriors Jailed After Fight
Two men were arrested Thursday on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after they engaged in a traffic altercation, authorities said.
The incident occurred at about 8:30 a.m. in the 900 block of N. Glenoaks Boulevard when Gerard Amos, 44--a pedestrian--allegedly threw a brick at the car of Sam Carlisle, 42, said Det. Steve Osti of the LAPD’s Foothill Division.
Carlisle turned his vehicle around and allegedly struck Amos, then got out of the vehicle and beat Amos, police said.
Carlisle was arrested at the scene and Amos was taken into custody after being treated at a local hospital, police said.
Both men were being held at the Van Nuys Jail.
Police didn’t know why Amos would throw a brick at the car.
