More than 100 quilts made by women from all over the South Bay will be on display today in San Pedro at the 15th Annual Quilt Exhibit to benefit community programs supported by the Assistance League.

The 62-year-old philanthropic organization, whose motto is “All for service and service for all,” supports several programs, including a dental center for the poor and a program that provides school uniforms to impoverished children.

A queen-size quilt of colorful fans will be auctioned at the show.

It is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Assistance League Charter House at 1441 W. 8th St. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children.
