* Career highlights: Former school board member in Illinois; counselor for Service Corps of Retired Executives; certified fraud examiner.
* Priorities: Establish ongoing communication with district residents on legislative actions. Improve education by experimenting with various processes. Promote programs that reduce violence in society.
