Nordhoff 35, Calabasas 13--Nordhoff shut out the previously undefeated Coyotes for three quarters and claimed sole possession of first place with a convincing victory at Calabasas.

The Coyotes (7-1-1, 3-1) were limited to just 55 yards rushing, while Nordhoff (5-4, 3-0) rolled for 302 on the ground.

Calabasas quarterback Dallas Enoch, who completed 17 of 33 passes for 226 yards and one touchdown, was under constant pressure. Nordhoff sacked him six times for minus-42 yards.

Jessie Hawkins rushed for 51 yards--including two second-half touchdowns--in six carries for Nordhoff.
