The annual Leonid meteor shower can be seen in the predawn hours of Nov. 17 and 18. This year’s shower may prove to be quite impressive, with dozens of meteors streaking through the sky during the peak hours as seen from Southern California. Even better will be the displays in northeastern China and Japan, where scientists are hoping for thousands of meteors hourly. NASA has an informative site set up with news, photos and links to other sites. Point your Web browser to: https://www-space.arc.nasa.gov/~leonid/
