La Palma will hold its 12th annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on Dec. 2, in Central Park Pavilion. Santa Claus will stop by from 6 to 7 p.m. Other entertainment includes performances by La Palma Tiny Tots and students at Buena Terra, Los Coyotes, Luther and George B. Miller elementary schools; Walker Junior High School; and John F. Kennedy High School.
The recreation department asks that people bring a new, unwrapped toy for those less fortunate. Information: (714) 522-6740.
