How to Report Fraud

Think you’ve been approached by a financial criminal and want to report the pitch to fraud watchdogs? Here’s how:

* Visit the Federal Trade Commission Web site at https://www.ftc.gov and click on “Complaint form.”

* Forward abusive e-mail to uce@ftc.gov (the “uce” stands for “unsolicited commercial e-mail”).

* Phone the FTC’s consumer hotline at: (202) FTC-HELP ([202] 382-4357).
