The Brea Community Emergency Council seeks donations and volunteers to distribute holiday baskets. The nonprofit group plans to bring 200 baskets to low-income families. Those interested in participating can call the Youth & Family Resource Center at (714) 990-7150 or Active Christians Today at (714) 529-6776. Brea residents who want a holiday basket can apply until Dec. 7 at St. Angela’s Catholic Church, 585 S. Walnut Ave. Residents need to bring a 1997 income tax return or current paycheck stub.
