The Whittier Christian High School band will be one of five high school bands marching in the “Holiday Bands on Parade” on Friday. The free event begins at 10 a.m. at Whittwood Mall in Whittier. Pre-parade entertainment, which includes carolers and story time, will take place at 9 a.m. on stage near the center of the mall, at 15603 Whittwood Lane. Information: (562) 947-2871.
