CYPRESS
The City Council on Monday honored the Weaver family as the 1998 Cypress Family of the Year. Kurt and Nancy Weaver have raised their eight children in Cypress, teaching them the values of family togetherness and education, said members of the Family of the Year Committee. Mayor Mary Ann Jones commended the family members for their dedication to each other and service to the community.
