USC Beats Titans in Women’s Soccer

Kim Clark scored the go-ahead goal with 20 minutes left in regulation and USC went on to defeat Cal State Fullerton, 3-1, in nonconference women’s soccer Thursday.
Katie Ticehurst added a goal from about 45 yards out in the 89th minute to clinch the victory at Titan Stadium. Fullerton’s Amy Barnes scored in the 55th minute to tie the score, 1-1, for the Titans (4-7). Isabelle Harvey had USC’s first goal in the 36th minute.
Shaelyn Fernandes made four saves for USC and Alicia Davis made three for Cal State Fullerton.
