Low-Flush Toilets Will Be Given Away

In an effort to save water and money, the Southern California Water Co. is offering free ultra-low-flush toilets today to its Orange County customers.
The toilets use 1.6 gallons per flush compared with 5 to 7 gallons for most standard toilets.
The toilet giveaway is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Southern California Water Co., 1920 W. Corporate Way, Anaheim. There is a limit of two per household.
To obtain toilets, homeowners must be Southern California Water Co. customers and bring a current water bill and identification. Information: (800) 387-0436.
