Senor Senor Wins Oak Tree Feature
Senor Senor rallied from last to beat Percutant by 1 1/4 lengths in Thursday’s $48,020 feature at Santa Anita’s Oak Tree meeting.
Ridden by Kent Desormeaux, Senor Senor covered 1 1/8 miles in 1:48.15 and paid $6.80 and $3.40.
Percutant returned $3, while Monferrato was another 3 1/2 lengths back in third. There was no show wagering after the field was reduced to four by the scratch of Don’t Blame Rio.
The victory, worth $29,400, increased Senor Senor’s career earnings to $139,425, with four wins in 13 starts.
