Interstate Electronics Is Help to NATO

Share

NATO troops struggling with the internecine hostilities ripping up the former Republic of Yugoslavia have been keeping in touch via satellite equipment built and operated by Anaheim-based Interstate Electronics Corp.

The company, which recently won extension of its contract with NATO through June 2000, provides telephone, video teleconferencing and high-speed data transmission services that connect six NATO sites in Bosnia-Herzegovina and provide links to NATO headquarters in Brussels as well as to other NATO command centers in Europe.
