Open House Will Celebrate Literacy Center’s Return
In an effort to provide more comprehensive literacy services, officials from the Orange County and Santa Ana public libraries will celebrate the reopening of a center that had been closed for lack of funding.
An open house is set for 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at 122 N. Newhope St., Santa Ana.
The literacy center will offer computers, telephones and offices for tutoring. Orange County’s literacy program, READ/Orange County, will provide tutor training, student and administrative assessments and on-site staff three days a week.
