Share

Applications for 39 vacancies in a nearly completed housing complex for low-income senior citizens will be available Monday, officials said.

The Lincoln Court Apartments are under construction at Lincoln Boulevard and Ashland Avenue, said Al Bishop of the nonprofit organization Volunteers of America. The group is building the project with funds from the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development and the city of Santa Monica.

The units will be ready in December, Bishop said. Rents will be 30% of a tenant’s adjusted gross income.
