Forget the Nov. 1 showdown with top-ranked Indiana or the Nov. 13 game against No. 6 Washington, the most important game for UCLA men’s soccer team’s will be played at 4 p.m. Sunday at Titan Field against Cal State Fullerton.

The Titans were one of two teams to beat the Bruins last year when UCLA won the national championship. In 1996, Fullerton knocked the Bruins out of the playoffs in the first round.

“They’re our USC,” senior Seth George said. “Those guys are our biggest rivals.”

UCLA, ranked No. 2 by Soccer America, also plays at UC Irvine at 7 tonight.

“I love going down there,” George said. “Almost all of us here have played with and against those guys at UCI and Fullerton when we were growing up. It’s always intense and really fun.”
