Zany Brainy Toys to Open 4 Stores in O.C.

The expanding toy store company Zany Brainy is now targeting Orange County. The chain’s first local store opened recently at the new Corona del Mar Plaza. And the Pennsylvania-based company intends to open four more in the area by March.
A trio of Zany Brainys will open Nov. 6--at Town & Country shopping center in Orange, Kaleidoscope in Mission Viejo and Imperial Plaza in Brea. A fourth is expected to open at Huntington Beach Mall in the first quarter of next year.
The store, which also sells books and teacher resources, bills itself as the place to go for products that are nonviolent, nontoxic and gender-neutral.
Currently, there are 64 Zany Brainys nationwide.
