Edison (3-3, 0-1) vs. No. 1 Los Alamitos (6-0, 1-0)

7 TONIGHT LONG BEACH VETERANS STADIUM

A young team without much experience, Edison is missing its top three receivers, including Jeff Kadau (28 receptions, 20 yards per catch) for the third game because of a pulled hamstring. The Chargers have gone from being balanced and averaging 42 points the first four games, to relying heavily on Darin Pope (20 touchdowns) and averaging 14. Edison has taken Los Alamitos to the final minute three of the last four seasons. This year, Edison is hoping the Griffins let down emotionally after last week’s 22-17 victory over Esperanza. The game will be telecast live on Fox Sports West 2.
