Penny Lane, a nonprofit organization serving emotionally disturbed teens, seeks volunteers to provide friendship and emotional support to youths in need of positive adult role models.

The East Valley Multipurpose Senior Center needs Thanksgiving Day volunteers Nov. 26 to deliver four to five meals to seniors living in North Hollywood, Toluca Lake, Sun Valley and Studio City. Breakfast will be provided to volunteers prior to deliveries.

The Volunteer Center Assistance League of Southern California seeks volunteers for after-school sports programs at elementary schools throughout the Valley. Duties include coaching and planning activities for two hours Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
