Name of Slaying Victim Released by Authorities

LAKE LOS ANGELES — A man found shot to death Saturday at a remote ranch was identified as Timotheo Herrera, a Sheriff’s Department spokesman said Sunday.
Herrera, 41, was discovered by family members shortly before 8 p.m. near 240th Street East and Avenue P in the Antelope Valley, said Deputy David Halm.
Halm did not say where Herrera was from or say how family members were led to his body.
