Public’s Help Sought in Finding 4 Fugitives

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s help in locating four fugitives wanted for crimes ranging from child molestation to drug possession.

Dario Vasquez Valencia, 66, was convicted of conducting lewd acts with a child and was placed on probation. He violated the terms of his probation earlier this year.

Valencia, a farm laborer, had been living in a trailer in Saticoy, then he went to Mexico but told family members he would return.

Valencia is Latino, 5 feet 8, 175 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.

Julio Cesar Gonzalez, also known as Julio Gonzales Cezar and Julio Cesar Gonzales-Mendez, 42, has numerous felony drunk-driving convictions. He also violated the terms of his probation.

Gonzalez last lived in Santa Paula. He is Latino, 5 feet 5, 155 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

Tony Quintana Alfaro, 42, is wanted on charges of drug possession and failure to appear in court. A warrant was issued in September 1997, which was the last time he failed to attend a court date.

Alfaro, who last lived in Port Hueneme, has “Tommy Alfaro” and peacocks tattooed on his left arm.

Alvin Johnson, also known as Otis Omar, 35, is wanted by Kansas authorities on narcotic sales and weapon possession charges.

He also has local misdemeanor warrants, stemming from charges such as giving false information to a peace officer, disturbing the peace and driving on a suspended license.

Johnson is black, 6 feet, 180 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair. Deputies believe he is staying in area hotels with a runaway juvenile girl and is traveling in a vehicle stolen from Kansas.
