Costello to Perform at Tribute to Activists

Rocker Elvis Costello is set to perform at an award ceremony honoring social activists Danny Goldberg, chairman and chief executive of Mercury Records Group, and Margery Tabankin, head of Barbra Streisand’s Streisand Foundation and Steven Spielberg’s Righteous Persons Foundation.
Sponsored by the American Civil Liberties Union Foundation of Southern California, the tribute dinner will be held Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Century Plaza Hotel, 2025 Avenue of the Stars, Los Angeles.
Tickets are $250 and $1,000, with proceeds benefiting the ACLU.
