Police Clerk Accused of Making Bomb Threats
A La Habra Police Department data-entry clerk who worked at the Justice Center in Fullerton was arrested Friday on suspicion of making six telephone bomb threats from the building.
The district attorney’s Fullerton office received three bomb threats Aug. 28, said Lt. Steve Harding of the county marshal’s office.
The others were made to other offices in the courthouse earlier this week.
The suspect, Darren Miller, 19, started working for the Police Department several months ago, said Capt. John Rees. Miller was initially responsible for entering dog license information into the computer. Later he became a court data-entry clerk.
