Support for Bruce

So KFI isn’t renewing the contract of Tammy Bruce for making “unfounded, mean-spirited and simply inappropriate remarks” about Camille Cosby (“KFI-AM Won’t Rehire Suspended Host,” by Judith Michaelson, Sept. 3). Should KFI be commended for responsible journalism? Is this the same KFI that employs half a dozen right-wing talk-show hosts who spend three hours a day, five days a week, year after year making mean-spirited and inappropriate remarks about the president of the United States?

What a loss to intelligent talk radio is Tammy Bruce’s firing from KFI. Although I’m not one of her gay fans, I enjoyed her feminine opinions and found myself agreeing with her more often than not. I hope she is hired by another station--one that will appreciate her.
