Bus Crowding
Re “MTA Admits Violating Bus-Crowding Court Order,” Sept. 9:
May I suggest a way to speed those top MTA officials to comply with the court order? Make it mandatory that Mayor Richard Riordan, the entire MTA board, Chief Executive Julian Burke and all his noncompliant associates ride the bus to and from work every day until they have reached the decreed load-factor limit. I don’t think these guys could stand it--for 20 minutes or a New York minute.
